Victorian Bay Shutters

Plantation Shutters for the Victorian Home

Steve Green was a Phoenix Blinds customer several years ago and we were delighted to see him return to us when he was looking for another set of plantation style shutters for another room in his victorian home in Fareham. It was a lovely semi-detached house with large bay windows at the front, both at ground floor and first floor levels. Steve was clearly someone with an eye for design and detail, and whose careful and diligent approach to decoration had resulted in a beautiful home.

Plantation style wooden shutters had always been part of his vision for the house, as Steve felt that whilst they may cost a bit more than curtains or other types of blind, they nevertheless add ‘kerb appeal’ and value.

Steve explained that the shutters were perfect for a period home and that he’s so pleased that he’s not stopping at shutters for the two bay windows. Next to benefit from a similar set of shutters from Phoenix Blinds and Shutters, will be the french doors at the back of the house.

As for the fitting and installation experience, ‘Superb. The same guy from Phoenix Blinds and Shutters fitted them both times and he was great. No mess, no problems. I would highly recommend.’
